Pieris japonica ‘Forest Flame’

This beautiful evergreen shrub lights up the landscape in Spring. A burst of red new leaves, which gradually mature to pink, cream and then green. The fiery foliage colors contrasting beautifully with pretty white Spring flowers. Often all these colors are present at the same time creating Spring garden drama. My favorite pieris. Award of Garden Merit (AGM) by Royal Horticulture Society.
Grow pieris “Forest Flame” in a sheltered partially shaded spot in moist well drained acidic soil. Deer resistant. Slow grower 6’ x 3’. Zone 3-9b
