Incarvillea delavayi (Flowering Fern) (Hardy Gloxinia)
Not really a fern, but has glossy deeply divided textural foliage resembling fern fronds . The real surprise happens when trumpet shaped rosy- purple blooms with a golden eye, rise from the ferny foliage. You’ll be as delighted as the hummingbirds. Happy in composty well drained evenly moist soil in sun-part shade. Perfect for our PNW climate. Deadhead after spring flowering for more blooms. Deciduous Perennial, Zone 3-9
