Acanthus ‘Whitewater’

This is an Acanthus to lust after! Bold variegated leaves with deeply cut margins and striking white splashes. Some leaves are almost entirely white. It would be an amazing plant for the dramatic foliage alone, but the show really begins when it flowers. Ornate 4-5’ white and pink flower spikes tower over the jagged foliage. This is a bold and imposing plant that can create an amazing focal point and can be very effective in a thoughtful composition. Acanthus Whitewater will mature to 3 ft tall with flowers rising to 5ft. It can spread to 4ft. This upright towering evergreen is more vigorous, drought tolerant and hardier than other varieties. It can tolerate a fair amount of shade or sun, so the design possibilities are endless.
