Ficus Carica ‘Desert King’

Excellent reliable and productive Fig variety for the Pacific Northwest. It’s especially adapted to cooler climates and higher elevations withstanding late Spring frosts that may damage fruit on other varieties. Desert King produces a generous amount of yellow green figs with sweet strawberry colored insides. Ripens mid-summer and sometimes offers a second round. Deer resistant! Happiest in ½ to full sun with regular water and well drained nutrient rich soil. 8-10’ Z 5-9
