Lantana ‘Miss Huff’ Hardy Lantana

Miss Huff Lantana is the most cold hardy lantana, surviving temps as low as 0 deg F. The dimensional multicolored blooms of pink, orange and yellow are non-stop from spring- frost. Rich in nectar; pollinators, butterflies and hummers host parties around these deer resistant shrublets. Miss Huff is sterile, which means less unwanted seedlings. Rather than making seeds she puts all her energy into blooming. Perennial and Hardy in zones 7-11, but makes a wonderful annual where not winter hardy. Established plantings of Miss Huff can get quite large, 36” tall and spreading. Excellent choice to stabilize a hillside. Very drought tolerant, but will bloom better with a few deep soakings during dry spells. Full sun. Evergreen shrub in zone 10-11. In zones 7-9 she dies back and reemerges early spring. Waiting to cut back foliage till early spring offers some protection.
