Disanthus ‘Ena Nishiki’

A rare treasure of a shrub for the shade garden with brilliant fall color and variegated leaves. Heart shaped leaves with creamy white edges light up a garden all summer and in fall the leaves transition to a kaleidoscope of color, dominated by vivid pink and burgundy. Happiest in rich woodland soils and bright shade or morning sun and afternoon shade. Height 6-10’ Vase shaped. Though not necessary…prune in late winter if desired. Zone 6-9.
