Thalictrum ‘Black Stockings’  is an award winning stately beauty with seductive ebony stems topped by fluffy sprays of purple- lavender flowers. The basal foliage is equally attractive with lush 6’ tall, lacy, deer resistant foliage. Stunning back of the border, edge of a woodland or feature plant. So easy to grow and forgiving of adverse conditions, but the best performance is in moist composty soil and part shade. Butterfly magnet. Perennial, zones 5-9
