Oregano ‘Hopleys Purple’

One of my favorite perennials that is very underused. This hardy Ornamental Oregano has vivid magenta-purple flowers. Sprays of violet flowers open along arching gray-green arching foliage all Summer into fall. It has an elegant airy look that makes a fabulous cut flower in arrangements and holds its purple color well when dried. Hopleys Purple is a bee and butterfly magnet and provides food all season. I love the way the long flower stems sway and weave among other perennials. It has a way of knitting a garden together like few others.  Just provide good drainage with no water logged soil and enjoy. Height 15”-2 ft Perennial Hardy Zone 6-9
