Monarda Sugar Buzz ‘Pink Frosting’

Showy pastel pink blossoms with white frosted tips. So floriferous… the flowers completely cover the foliage in summer. Improved mildew-resistance. The dark green foliage forms an upright clump with enough vigor to quickly fill out containers nicely but isn’t aggressive in the garden. Part of the SUGAR BUZZ Series from the Walters Gardens perfectly suited for the middle of the flower border at 2ft tall. Monarda is native to eastern North America, so it’s easy to grow. The flowers’ sweet nectar is candy to hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. The aromatic foliage smells like mint when crushed and makes a wonderful tea.
