Edgeworthia crhrysantha (Paper Bush)

Late summer… fuzzy buds form giving you months of anticipation. When soils begin to warm in late winter the swollen buds erupt into an incredible floral display of creamy white flowers with butter yellow centers. The gardenia-like fragrance fills the air. Magnificent! Elongated lush foliage takes center stage after the fragrant flowers turning yellow in fall. Vase shaped with lovely bark… it has a very architectural presence. Looks sweet with daffodils and snowdrops. Deer resistant. Prefers rich moist soil in part shade. Morning sun would be a great spot. Deciduous. Ht 6-7’ x W6-7’ Zones 7-10
