DIY Lipospheric Vitamin C Can Save Your Life

My Secret Weapon Against Viral & Bacterial Infection

As the spread of Coronavirus escalates around the world and we are beginning to see it manifest within our communities… many are wondering what they can do to protect themselves and their families. I feel it’s important for me to share my secret weapon against viral and bacterial infections. I’m an herbalist, so you may assume I’m going to share a secret herbal remedy or mushroom combination. There are many very useful ones to boost the immune system and some that are directly anti-viral and anti-bacterial. However, the biggest weapon in my arsenal is Lipospheric vitamin C. In that form it can be more powerful than IV vitamin C. The best part … you can easily make your own Lipospheric Vitamin C at home!

Lipospheric Vit C to fight Viruses and Bacteria

With even modest amounts of supplemental vitamin C, deaths will decrease. In one study, a mere 200 mg of vitamin C/day resulted in an 80% decrease in deaths among severely ill, hospitalized respiratory disease patients. [Hunt C et al. Int J Vitam Nutr Res 1994;64:212-19.] http://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v16n09.shtml

Some Hospitals now treating Covid-19 patients with high dose Vitamin C

Getting our blood and cellular levels of Vitamin C sufficiently high can produce significant clinical improvement. In a clinical trial China is now treating patients with 24,000 mg Vitamin C daily administered intravenously for 7 days to treat the coronavirus (Covid-19)

Based on promising reports in China, doctors in New York are now prescribing high doses of Vitamin C to critically ill patients.

Andrew Weber, a Pulmonologist and critical-care specialist in New York is now offering ICU patients 1,500 mg of IV Vitamin C 3- 4 times daily and is reporting that those receiving high dose IV C are “doing significantly better” than those without.

A robust immune system allows us to fight off all kinds of bacteria and viruses. The greatest danger of Coronavirus or any respiratory infection is an escalation to Pneumonia, followed by a cytokine storm and sepsis. IV Vitamin C has a long history of successful use against severe viral and bacterial infection, including HIV, herpes, and hepatitis.

Vitamin C is one of our essential master antioxidants. Unlike other mammals we do not make our own Vitamin C and much of the population is deficient. Those that have increased need are people under high stress, the elderly, athletes or those that vigorously exercise, smokers, during illness, pollution exposure, even a spider bite can increase your need by over 200 percent!

“Vitamin C is effective in reducing duration of severe pneumonia in children less than five years of age. Oxygen saturation was improved in less than one day.” [Khan IM et al. J Rawalpindi Med Coll (JRMC); 2014;18(1):55-57 http://www.journalrmc.com/volumes/1405749894.pdf ]

The benefits of liposomal Vit C go far beyond fighting pathogens.  It partners with the amino acid proline to stimulate collagen production for supple skin, joints, healthy gums, wound healing and can increase bone density. IV and lipospheric Vit C are being used as an adjunctive cancer treatment. As an antioxidant it fights free radicals associated with aging and cellular damage. It can slow the progression of age-related macular degeneration. It’s vital for immune function and the manufacture of hormones and nerve functioning.

Can you just take high doses of Regular Non- lipospheric vitamin C instead?

No, you cannot simply take large doses of vitamin C to achieve the same result. Absorption of regular Vit C is approximately 19% and significantly decreases as you take more. The remaining Vit C that doesn’t absorb passes through the GI tract attracting water which loosens the bowels. High doses cause diarrhea. Before IV or lipospheric Vit C, practitioners simply told people to take Vit C to bowel tolerance. Taking Vitamin C to bowel tolerance is useful, but in acute infections, intravenous administration or lipospheric Vitamin C. may be appropriate.

What are Liposomes?

Liposomes are one of the most effective ways to deliver nutrients directly to your cells where they are needed most. Our cells have a lipid-bilayer membrane that selectively allows things in. Water soluble substances don’t absorb easily. By surrounding the Vit C molecules in tiny microscopic bubbles of a phospholipid layer it merges with the phospholipid membrane surrounding our cells where the Vit C is released intracellularly. Think of a trojan horse carrying Vit C!

Liposomes are made of the same fat- phospholipids as our cell membranes. Phospholipids are primary building blocks of our cellular membranes. They form a protective wall surrounding each cell in our body. As a bonus the phospholipids used to form liposomes act to nourish our cell membranes by providing lipids to hungry cells for optimal functioning.

Liposomes offer the power of IV Vit C in a convenient oral form.

My Personal experience using Lipospheric Vit C

Several years ago, during a particularly bad flu season we had a death in our family. On Christmas day when we noticed our beloved Friesian horse mare collicking. We rushed her to emergency surgery where she died on the table. Our family was profoundly sad which lowered our immune system. At the very same time my son came down with a particularly virulent flu which got progressively worse. I stayed up for several consecutive nights watching him and trying to keep him hydrated. We all ended up with a flu that progressed to pneumonia. My son went to the emergency room, but my hubby and I decided to self-treat. We were uninsured at the time.

I tried herbs, medicinal mushrooms and other things, but my hubby and I continued to deteriorate. This went on for over a month. We were completely bedridden and breathing was becoming increasingly difficult and painful. In a last-ditch effort… I decided to make my 1st batch of Lipospheric Vitamin C. I had read about its usefulness against cancer and severe illness.

My 1st shot in a dixie cup I felt a surge of energy and I could sit up for more than a few minutes. After a half an hour I was back to feeling like death. So, I took another shot (in a Dixie Cup) with the same result. My hubby experienced the exact same thing. We could feel when we needed to take another shot. If we maintained a shot every ½ hr we felt as if we were slowly crawling out of the coffin. Each time feeling incrementally better. (Turns out ½ hr. is about the half-life in the body). We even took doses through the night, because the benefits were so easily felt and dramatic. We recovered, although I still feel as if there may be some lung scarring. For both of us there isn’t a shadow of a doubt that the Lipospheric Vitamin C pulled us out of severe Pneumonia and saved our lives.

We gave my son the Lipo C as well and it helped immensely, though it wasn’t as pronounced, because he was already on strong antibiotics. The experience has turned me into a believer and fan of this powerful form of Vitamin C.

Recipe:

There are a dizzying number of recipes floating around. Enough to give those of us who aren’t PHD biochemists a headache. We aren’t trying to create the precision necessary to sell the stuff, instead I’m sharing my easily followed recipe that allows anyone to make it at home.

My Easy DIY Liposomal Home Recipe

To create this Vit C recipe you will need to invest in some equipment and tools. There is an initial expense, but once you’ve acquired the tools and ingredients it becomes extremely inexpensive to create further batches.

Equipment

An ultrasonic cleaner with 2-liter capacity. This is the one I have. It has a 2.5-liter capacity

Here’s another one I found that has temperature control and a large capacity.

An electric hand whisk or a food blender (I use a Vitamix)

One 2 litre flat-bottomed borosilicate glass flask. (I use an old glass wine jug)

A glass rod, glass spoon or wood chopstick for stirring. Do not use metal.

Ingredients:

*3 TBSP ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)

95% of all Vit C is manufactured in China and much of it has issues with heavy metal contamination and some are made from GMO corn. The highest quality Vitamin C I trust is made in Scotland rather than China like the form found in THIS BRAND.

*6 TBSP Organic Sunflower lecithin (Do NOT use Soy lecithin)

*3 Cups Distilled water (I use filtered water from my BerkeyFiltersUSA)

*1 ½ Tbsp baking soda (Arm & Hammer is Aluminum free and safe to use) Please note: Baking soda and Baking powder are 2 different things! (Do NOT use Baking Powder)

Directions:

Important:  As the Vitamin C and Baking soda combine, they will fizz and it will double in size possibly overflowing a small container, so use a LARGE container!

  • Combine 3 TBSP Vitamin C powder (Ascorbic Acid) with 1 ½ Tbsp Baking Soda and 1 Cup of Distilled water.  In a Large clean glass bowl, Borrosilicate flask or large glass cup. Allow to fizz out for a half hr.
  • Combine 6 Tbsp. sunflower lecithin with 2 cups water, mix in blender or use a hand blender. Blend 5 minutes Note: This step alone increases bioavailability, but you have not yet created Liposomes.
  • Add the Vitamin C, Baking Soda & Water to the lecithin water. Mix again for 5 minutes.
  • Allow to sit a few minutes to decrease foaming bubbles and cool a bit.
  • Pour into Glass container (Flask, jug etc.)
  • Place Glass container into the Ultrasonic machine. Fill the basin of Ultrasonic container with water, so the glass is surrounded by water. The Ultrasonic waves will transfer through the water into the glass.
  •  Process in Ultrasonic machine (without the heat option if possible) If temperature reaches 85 + add an ice cube.) High heat can degrade the Vit C.

Some machines have timers of 2 minutes, so you may have to keep setting the timer.

Aim for at least ½ Hour of processing.

Congratulations! You’ve just made your own Lipospheric Vitamin C.

Store in refrigerator and if needed only take into the bedroom enough to keep dosing during the night.

Don’t want to make your own? Many of the brands of Lipospheric Vitamin C are currently out of stock, but I found 1 that’s available in gelcaps.

They use high quality Vitamin C. To fight a severe infection you will need high doses which may be difficult with small capsules.

Here are different brands in liquid form.
