The CDC recommends that hand sanitizer needs to be at least 60% alcohol to effectively battle viruses. This formula follows this percentage and adds aloe vera for gentleness and essential oils for extra virus and bacterial protection. This is the one I am currently using. However, there is no substitute for vigorous hand washing in hot soapy water! I am also currently using disposable gloves wherever I go and avoiding unnecessarily touching ANY surfaces! This recipe is only part of the arsenal… not the solution!
