Stewartia pseudocamellia ‘Pewter form’ (Silver Leaf Stewartia)

Stewartia are some of the most elegant trees you can grow and ‘Pewter Form’ Stewartia is a stunning selection made by Guy and Chikoyu Meachum. It has the same lovely cinnamon-red mottled bark, horizontal branching, white saucer flowers and fiery fall foliage as other Stewartia with the addition of fabulous foliage. As the name suggests the foliage takes on a metallic bluish blush which is more pronounced as the tree ages. The new stems are red which accentuates the glowing foliage. Deciduous. Sun-part shade.
