Penstemon digitalis (Foxglove Beardtongue)

Popular showy native. Upright snow white tubular flowers held on tall wands are candy to pollinators and hummers. Provides vertical interest. Super easy to grow. Happiest in well drained loamy soil, but handles excess moisture as well as occasional drought. One of the few Penstemon that lives in clay soil. Flower height 2-4’ & 2’ wide, evergreen basal leaves. Deer & rabbit resistant when established. Part-full sun. Zone 3-8
