Next generation Penstemon with the darkest plum foliage of all. Dakota Burgundy has a more compact and tidy look than Dark Towers’, holding its dark foliage without flopping. Looks amazing in and out of bloom. Tubular lavender flowers with frosted tips look stunning against the dark foliage. A designers dream. Happy in full sun with rich soil that drains and although it’s very drought tolerant, offer an occasional drink to keep it looking it’s best. Deer resistant. The hummers go mad for it. Evergreen. 18-24” tall. Zones 3 – 9
