Miscanthus sinensis ‘Fire Dragon’ (Maiden Grass)

‘Fire Dragon’ is a hardy ornamental grass with powerful presence, providing screening, movement, color, contrast and texture in the landscape. With cooler fall temperatures the green grass will transition to a fiery orange with, silvery plumes. Forms a tight upright clump with gracefully arching leaves. Rising to 7 ft tall and 3-4 ft wide it makes a great screening plant and a dramatic backdrop in a mixed border. The bohemian plumes are great for dried arrangements. Deer resistant and drought tolerant. Best performance in Moist well-drained soil. Sun-pt shade. Deciduous Zones 4-9
