Lonicera periclymenum ‘Sweet Sue’ Honeysuckle

Well-behaved ‘Sweet Sue’, Honeysuckle offers fragrance and an exceptionally long bloom-time from June- September. Fragrant creamy-white flowers age to a soft yellow, set against gray green leaves. Unlike many other honeysuckle varieties, ‘Sweet Sue’ is completely non-invasive and won’t become a garden thug. Deer and drought tolerant. Try planting along a path or patio to enjoy the fragrance. It would be a lovely addition to a moon garden. Hummer magnet! Deciduous. Sun-part shade. Zone 6-9. Sweet Sue honeysuckle was found on a beach in Sweden by Roy Lancaster who named it in honor of his beloved wife Sue. So sweet!
