Geranium sanguineum ‘Elke’

Beloved for it’s incredibly long bloom-time and intricate flowers. Vibrant pink flowers with a white eye, dark veining and crisp white edges nestle atop finely dissected green foliage, that turns a rich crimson in fall. Deer resistant and drought tolerant. Makes a wonderful low maintenance groundcover. Simply prune back to rejuvenate tired foliage in late winter- early spring. Performs best in sun-part shade with humus rich moist soil. Semi-evergreen. Perennial. Ht 1’ x 2’ W Hardy in Zones 3-10
