Euphorbia characias ‘Silver Swan’ Wilcott

Stunning variegated grey-green foliage highlighted with silvery edging. Light green and cream flower spikes late winter – spring add extra interest and blend seamlessly with almost any color palette. Year-round foliage interest. As tough as they come – sun, frost, wind, drought deer, rabbits, moles, voles. You get the idea… Pretty indestructible. Evergreen, hardy and wickedly rugged. Excellent choice for a mixed planter, xeriscaping, dry garden, in mixed borders, rock gardens, coastal regions and commercial landscaping.

Caution: Harmful if eaten/skin & eye irritant, but that’s one of the reasons deer, moles, voles and other critters steer clear. Yay! Small price to pay to just plop on some gloves when petting your euphorbia. I love planting euphorbias in front of or around other plants to repel moles and voles. Can grow in full sun or part shade making this an extremely versatile addition to your landscape. Silver Swan euphorbia isn’t invasive, but feel free to trim off the spent flowers or stems to the base to prevent self -seeding and to create a bushier healthy form. 2’ tall & wide. Perennial Zones 8-10
