Crinum ‘Powellii’

Lily-like fragrant pink trumpets rise 3-4 ft arise over strappy leaves, from huge underground pest-proof bulbs. Forming a lovely clump growing more beautiful and floriferous each passing year. A true garden conversation piece and something to treasure. Blooming and re-blooming mid-late summer. Drought tolerant, deer resistant and nearly indestructible. Full-pt sun. Hardy zones 7-10, but a bit of mulch or protection from hard frosts will make the foliage more attractive. Resents being moved.
