Cotula ‘Tiffendell Gold’

Sweet charming and unique plant with an unfortunate name that sounds like a venereal disease. Seriously… say it out loud… COTULA. There is no common name, so lets rename it! They have an ethereal quality and the yellow flowers hover on wiry stems above a low ferny mat of evergreen foliage. Flowers all summer and makes a wonderful ground-cover that can quickly establish into a 2′ mat of evergreen in a season . Some name ideas: 1.) Alien sun drops. 2.) Golden fairy buns 3.) Moon Pie plant 4.) Leprechaun balls.5.) Magic Honey Buns?? Ok. Your turn! Any ideas? Tiffendell Gold’ is a hardy perennial zones 4-9 Likes rich composty soil that is evenly moist and well draining. Sun-part shade. ?? What do you vote for ???
