Artemisia ‘Silver Brocade’ Ghost Plant, Wormwood, Dusty Miller, Mugwort

Intense silver-blue textural foliage hugs the ground. Excellent evergreen groundcover providing a colorful contrast in a rockery, front of the border, edging a path , spilling from a container or a hanging basket. Very drought tolerant once established, deer resistant. Full sun-part shade. Provide sharp drainage. Hardy perennial zones 3-8 Ht 6-12” and spreading. In colder climates it may die back to the crown in winter and regrow in spring. Cut back hard in summer to keep a low compact form. Looks wonderful with purple foliage plants or purple flowers. For a beautiful deer resistant combination try pairing with Penstemon ‘Dakota Burgundy’ and Allium ‘Millenium’. Indispensable in a moon garden where the foliage seems to glow.
