Viburnum plicatum ‘Molly Schroeder’

One of my favorite viburnums! Award winning, double-file viburnum ‘Molly Schroeder’ offers multi-season interest. She offers a generous lace-cap floral display reblooming spring into summer with lavender-pink petals and creamy throats. The flowers are held on horizontal branching giving an elegant tiered effect. The charm continues as flowers transition to decorative red berries that change to dark purple. Fall color as well… A near perfect shrub. Growing about 5-8’ tall with a more narrow spread. Most sources say it eventually takes on a rounded form, but all that I’ve encountered have a narrow form with horizontal branching. Full sun- part shade, with the best flowering when receiving at least 6 hrs of sun. Deciduous. Zones 5-8
