Enough to make a plant nerds heart flutter! This hardy schefflera has a lush tropical look… Incredibly glossy and textural with pinnate foliage that has a cool layering effect. It is a gorgeous evergreen large shrub or small tree. Schefflera taiwaniana is bone hardy here in the PNW … even down to zone 7. It fares well and looks fresh, even in tough winters. Makes an excellent container plant in colder areas. Happiest in bright shade or sun with a bit of afternoon sun protection. Try pairing with hostas, ferns and japanese forest grass for a shade garden vignette with flair.
