Leucothoe fontanesiana Leafscape™ ‘Little Flames’

Leucothoe fontanesiana 'Little Flames' is a multi-stemmed, broadleaf evergreen shrub with arching branches that grows in a compact, dense mound. New growth in spring is red which contrasts well with the green foliage underneath. Use as a low hedge or container plant. Dainty white flowers appear in Spring, Fall foliage turns crimson red!
Growing and Maintenance Tips:
Best grown in moist, acidic, organically rich well-drained loams in part shade. Can be grown in full sun, but must have consistent moisture. Tolerates full shade. Does not tolerate drought or windy conditions. Winter hardy to USDA Zone 5-9. Deer resistant.
