Lespedeza thunbergia ‘Gibraltar’

A waterfall of rosy-pink sweet-pea flowers on an arching deciduous shrub. These waterwise shrubs improve soil, by fixing nitrogen and providing nectar for pollinators. Gibraltar is a more compact form of Bush Clover, forming an airy arching fountain of delicate foliage. Looks wonderful paired with plantings of larger leaves for contrast or try planting on the sunny side of conifers, in a sunny mixed border, hillside or to soften retaining walls. You can leave the lovely arching stems for winter interest, but cut back hard in early spring to encourage new growth and lots of flowers as it blooms on new wood.
