Hydrangea paniculata ‘Confetti’ PP26,582

Large flower panicles are a playful mix of pink and white with green pointy tips and are lightly scented. The large white flowers turn more pink as the season progresses. The flowers rise above healthy, bushy foliage and if left unpruned the papery flower skeletons provide Winter interest. Confetti, blooms from early Summer to late Autumn. The truly special thing about this variety is the compact size, growing to only 3 ½ ft by 2 ½ ft at maturity, which is rare for a paniculata. Many paniculatas can easily reach 12 – 16 ft tall and 8ft wide. They are stunning in the right setting, but can be unruly in small gardens. Confetti Hydrangea is compact enough for small gardens and is equally suited for container gardening.
Paniculatas usually can tolerate more sun than macrophylla hydrangeas. Give this sweetie some nice compost soil, regular water in full- sun to part shade and she will delight you and the butterflies with her fluffy blooms.
