Grevillea Victoriae ‘Murray Valley Queen’

A delightful rounded evergreen shrub from the coldest parts of Australia with vibrant brick-orange spidery flowers in winter and sporadically all year. ‘Murray Valley Queen’ is an exceptionally bloomy variety. Red buds swell all summer and explode into flower all winter. What a wonderful way to feed our overwintering hummers! Site in full-sun in sharply drained soil. Water while establishing, but very drought tolerant thereafter. Enjoys the reflected heat from buildings and walls. Deer resistant. No phosphorous fertilizer! Size 8’x 8’. Z 8-11
