Rodgersia podophylla ‘Rotlaub’

Bold architectural plant for pt sun-shade really makes an impact. Large palmate foliage emerges bronze and turns reddish orange as the season progresses. Rotlaub is known for maintaining it’s colorful foliage better than other cultivars. More sun intensifies the orange-red color while more shade encourages greenish foliage. Fall intensifies the red coloration. Creamy-white 3′ tall. astillbe like flowers rise above the massive foliage in Summer.  3-4′ tall by 3′ wide zone 5-9 Appreciates moist loamy soil. Deciduous perennial.
