Polygonatum odoratum ‘Angel Wings’ Variegated Fragrant Solomons Seal

Wonderful showy perennial for the shade garden or containers. Features light green leaves edged in white on gracefully arching unbranched stems. The new stems are blushed with maroon. Leaves turn a golden yellow in Autumn. Late-Spring to early Summer delightful white bell-shaped flowers appear in pairs and dangle beneath the underside of arching stems. The flowers are very fragrant and smell like lilies and hyacinth. Flowers are followed by edible blue- black berries. It was selected as perennial of the year in 2013. This rhizomatous perennial slowly forms little colonies in shade to full shade. 15” tall Z. 5-9, Deciduous.
