Omphalodes cappadocica ‘Navelwort’

Simply one of the best flowering perennials for a woodland garden. It sports vivid-blue starry flowers mid-spring through mid-summer. It enjoys moist nutrient rich soil, but is surprisingly drought tolerant once established, making it a great dry shade garden denizen. It’s hard to find plants that flower and perform well in shade and even harder to find ones for dry shade. Here it is .Yay! Disappointing name for such a cool plant. Ht 10’ and slowly spreading.
