Daphne odora ‘Maejima’

Fabulous new variegated Daphne variety. Dark pink super fragrant blooms are lovely in contrast to the unusual rich green and yellow variegated leaves. This semi-dwarf Daphne brightens up shady areas and creates year-round interest. The evergreen leaves are a bold golden-yellow with a dark green stripe in the center and remain attractive in all seasons. Plant Mae jima where her Winter fragrance can be appreciated. Prefers Sun to Part shade, but no direct afternoon sun. Organically rich well-drained soil and regular water. More drought tolerant once established. 3’tall and wide.
