Fuchsia magellanica ‘Purple Mountain’ Hardy Fuchsia

Sexy purple foliage sets this hardy Fuchsia apart from the crowd. Elegant long skinny flowers with dark red sepals and purple corollas dangle on burgundy stems. Hummer Candy! ‘Purple Mountain’ fuchsia has a graceful arching habit. Give this fuchsia some room as she’s quite vigorous and can soar to 5ft. For added hardiness mulch in winter and plant the crown 4’ below soil level, just as you would a tomato plant. As with all my hardy fuchsias, I leave the deciduous stems for added protection and cut back to new growth in early spring. Sun- part shade. Zone 8a-10
