Fuchsia arborescens ‘BluTini’ (Mexican Blueberry)

It’s a fuchsia… it’s a blueberry, no it’s Fuchsia ‘Blutini’. This unusual evergreen shrub fuchsia is both ornamental and edible. It produces large clusters of starry lavender-pink flowers throughout summer, followed by dark purple-blue fruits in autumn. The berries of Blutini are sweet and resemble blueberries in appearance which is why it’s commonly called Mexican Blueberry. The flowers are also edible and used in salads or as garnishes. This tender perennial evergreen shrublet makes great container displays and will overwinter well in warmer areas. Sun- part shade Zone 9-10.
