Impatiens omeiana (Hardy Imatiens)

Lust worthy foliage that creates a low textural colony. Perfect along a woodland path. Velvety lance shaped leaves arranged in whorls on red petioles and stems. Leaves have a shimmery overlay and a luminous creamy white midrib, making each leaf look like a work of art. Late summer and fall, look for the sweet mouse shaped butter yellow flowers with curly spurs. Ht 6-16 “ tall and spreads by rhizomes. Easy peasy in part shade with some rich soil that receives some supplemental water in summer. Evergreen Zones 8-10
