Angelica pachycarpa (Glossy Angelica)

A little gloss goes a long way… shining bright in the garden the otherworldly leaves of this Angelica will stop you in your tracks. Large compound, glossy leaves make a stunning evergreen mound. Very architectural, this will become a treasured garden perennial. Large white umbels of flowers are best cut off to encourage the foliage. If allowed to seed, it can behave more like a bi-annual. However the seeds will readily germinate , so you will have garden continuity. Full sun to part shade with medium moisture. Zones 5-11
