Ajuga Feathered Friends ‘Cordial Canary’

Hands down my favorite ajuga! The golden foliage seems to glow and brighten up a shady border. Not nearly as spreading as other varieties. Think… Well Behaved! The blue flower wands in spring pop against the foliage. Prefers part shade and it’s drought tolerant once established. Looks best in slightly moist soil. Sure to be a hit with landscape designers , this sister to Chocolate Chip forms a 6” mound and clumps rather than runs. Makes a wonderful evergreen edger or massed as a groundcover. Deer resistant. Perennial. Zones 4-9
