Lemon balm is in the mint family and has a subtle herbaceous lemony scent, lending itself well to teas, cooking and cosmetics. In the garden it quickly becomes a bright bushy mound with a wonderful scent. An herb that asks to be used. Cut it before seeding unless you want lemon balm pups everywhere.
