Rhododendron yaku ‘Percy Wiseman’

Semi-dwarf evergreen that puts on a beautiful spring display with flowers emerging in shades of peach, pink and cream before fading to creamy white. The thick green leaves have velvety tan undersides (indentum). Multiple award winner including the Rhododendron of the Year award and the RHS Award of Garden Merit among others , for outstanding garden presence. The form is low full and rounded making it a pleasing garden addition year-round. Truly, one of the best of the Yakushimanum hybrids. It’s also incredibly hardy down to -5 F! Full-part sun in well-drained soil. About 3’ tall and 4; wide at maturity. Zone 6-8
