Phlomis ruselliana

Butter yellow whorled flower clusters arranged in tiers, on tall upright stems, offer a unique and quirky accent to the garden. The foliage has a bluish fuzzy texture that begs to be petted. One of my favorite things about this phlomis is that the architectural domed seed-heads stand all winter, offering interest far beyond bloom-time. Highly drought and deer resistant. Whimsical addition to cut flower arrangements. Perennial. Ht 3’ x W 2’. Sun- lt shade. Zone 5-9
