Thuja Plicata ‘Steeplechase’

One of the best evergreen screening trees. Dark glossy green foliage on upswept branches; ideal as an accent, hedge or screen. Has a distinctively pyramidal habit and retains it’s dark green color through winter. Steeplechase is a sport of Green Giant, with feathery foliage, a fuller habit and a more slender profile. Fast growing in sun-pt sun. Water well the 1st season till established. Very tolerant of high heat which is important as our summers continue to be more intense. More deer resistant than other cedars. Ht 20’ x W 8’. Zones 5-9b
