Salvia gregii ‘Lipstick’

One of the longest blooming salvias from spring -frost. Compact 3’x 3’ clump topped with lipstick-red flowers and a white throat. A hit with hummers and pollinators, but the deer turn up their noses. Low maintenance, simply trim back 1/3 in late winter or early spring to remove any dead stems, shape and rejuvenate. Full-part sun in evenly moist organically rich soil. Drought tolerant once established. Perennial Zones 7-10
