Carex flacca ‘Blue Zinger’

Evergreen, arching blue foliage adds color, contrast, texture and movement. Happy in sun or part shade. Rarely bothered by deer or rabbits. Makes a beautiful front of the border groundcover. Low maintenance and not fussy about soil. Try it as a pathway edger in sun or shade, or in a woodland border. It would be a great choice for a rain garden, rockery or beside a stream or pond. Looking it’s best in moist well-drained soil, but quite drought tolerant once established. Zones 5-8 16” tall and slowly spreading via rhizomes to form large clumps.
