Deutzia ‘Magician’

Welcomes spring with showy panicles of deep rose-pink flowers with white edges. One of the showiest floral displays of any deutzia. Magician has large 3-4” leaves offering lush foliage when not in bloom. Fall color is amber with some leaves displaying burgundy, orange and red mottling. Deutzias are drought tolerant and deer resistant and can handle full sun or shade. Offer full-part sun for the best flowering. Prune, if desired right after the flowers fade, allowing ample time for new buds to form for the following year. Ht 5-6’ tall and wide. Winner of the Gold Medal award from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Deciduous. Zones 5-9
