Saxifraga ‘Harvest Moon’

Such a sweet, unique and colorful groundcover for a shady garden. Saxifraga ‘Harvest Moon’ has scalloped evergreen leaves of sulfur yellow with an orange blush and heavy veining, held on showy red stems. Only 3-6” tall and spreading with a froth of pink and white flowers on wiry stems. Deer resistant. Thriving on neglect ‘Harvest Moon’ is an excellent choice for a groundcover in dry shade. While it can handle deep dark shade, the best color is seen with at least some sun, so ideally morning sun or filtered, bright shade. Perennial zones 5-9
