Goji berry ‘Firecracker’

Easy to grow, superfruit! My favorite Goji to grow so far. Firecracker is a highly productive shrub with a rounded, compact form. One of the earliest to set fruit. Slowly spreads by underground suckers. Purple flowers give way to a profusion of bright red antioxidant rich goji-berries. Great for drying and making fruit leathers, tossing in salads or drying and powdering for a superfood supplement. Self-pollinating. Deciduous. Benefits from a tipi, fence or small trellis to lean against. Perennial shrub. Zone 5-9
