Late-summer into the dreary days of winter are when this charmer really shines. All those spring flowers transition to pea-sized red berries. They start orange and turn red. This sweet evergreen has a cascading form, perfect fronting a border, in a patio container, draping from a wall, or lining a pathway. Pyracomales is an improved hybrid of Pyrocantha. It’s thornless with a low mounded form and finer foliage, It would make a charming alternative to boxwood. Notice I’ve said charming a few times… can you tell I’m SMITTEN? Full-part sun.
