Salvia ‘Bee’s Bliss’ (Bees Bliss Sage)

Bees Bliss is an easygoing native groundcover salvia that truly does put the bees and other pollinators in a state of Bliss! The silvery fragrant foliage repels deer, but makes a nice edible tea. The profusion of violet flower wands provide ample flowers for arrangements. Bees Bliss sage has a height of only 1-2’, but quickly spreads to cover large areas. Each plant has potential to cover up to 6-8 ft.  ! Perfect to stabilize a dry hillside, spill off a wall or to fill in a hell-strip. Xeric, with very low water needs once established, but can go summer dormant during extreme drought. Never fear… It will return with the rains. An occasional drink in summer keeps it looking it’s best. Perennial. Happy in sun with sharp draining soil. Hardy in zones 8-10
