Abelia grandiflora ‘Glossy Abelia’

Glossy evergreen shrub with gracefully arching branches and fragrant white bell shaped flowers from spring into summer. 4-6 ‘ tall and 5’ wide. Makes a lovely screening plant as a low hedge or part of a mixed border. Grows in full sun to part shade. Very deer resistant. Hummers and pollinators will appreciate the repeat blooms spring through fall. Prefers sun, but I have this planted in my shady garden and without much attention it always looks it’s glossy best. Blooms on new wood, so you may prune late winter- early spring as needed. Try to refrain from meat balling this one as the arching habit is part of her charm. Zones 6-9
