Anemone sylvestris ‘Spring Beauty’ White Windflower

Spring Beauty is an exciting new improved hybrid that lights up your landscape in spring with white flowers that dance above deeply cut green foliage. This new compact variety is only 12-15” tall and is sterile, so it won’t seed around like other anemones. Slowly spreads via underground rhizomes and can be used as a lovely spring blooming groundcover. Most Anemones are fall blooming, but this new variety was developed in the Nederland’s and blooms late spring into summer. Provides food for pollinators and attracts butterflies. They are called windflower, because they flutter in the wind like pinwheels. Sun- part shade and can handle low water once established, but will perform best with regular water during the bloom cycle. Hardy perennial zones 5-9
